Ah, I learned something new today. I had never heard of that holiday before.

That's good. I probably favorited it. ;)

I start school in one week. :(

Hello dear! it was the 20th of August, we call the "New Bread's Celebration". In the old days that day was the first when people made bread from the new wheat. Plus the celebration of our first king, Saint Stephen who made Hungarians become Christians out paganism in the I. century.

Oh thank you dear Chirsty, it was Gloomy Clouds DIV and even though it is already accepted it is still not centered. You are so sweet.

Wishing you a great weekend!

Hugs, Katinka

Oh, cool, what was the holiday? And how did everything go?

I'll check the rejected layouts and see what I can do.

No, I never mind long comments. Feel free to talk away to me, haha.

Cute new profile layout, by the way.

Oh hello my sweet friend.

I am fine thank you. I have been so busy lately. The 20th of August is a National Holiday here and I probably mentioned that I work in a Parish Office. We are going to have special events to celebrate. I had to prepare a lot. Like making big flower arangements and such. It took long.

I am so very very happy you liked my layout. I know it is not perfect but I tried to fix it and sadly could not. I don't know what is wrong.

You might be able to help ;) I would be really greatful. I have one rejected layout now and I am so sad about it cause the standard version was accepted months ago with no problem and the very same image was now rejected.

well that is it for now. I was talking far too much :))

Love, Katinka

How have you been, Katie?

Posted by tokyo-rose on Aug 19, 08 12:39 pm

Yes, I know about Liverpool. I want to go there if I visit England. :D

Zhun hai? (Can you understand Cantonese pinyin? If not, I won't say any more. And I'm not good at pinyin.)

Yes, I've started working at my aunt's office and it's a good learning experience. How about you?

Blackpool is near Liverpool a very famous English beach resort with an amazing Theme Park.

Oh, I do not know much in Cantonese yet, a few expressions, quite a lot of words and all in all I love its sound.

Have you had a good day? I hope. Love, Katie

Where is Blackpol?

Learning Italian would be great, but the only thing I can say "I'm Cristy," and I can't even spell it! Haha.

I'm glad to hear that, since I speak Cantonese, and most people want to learn Mandarin instead. Do you know any at all?

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jul 15, 08 11:16 am

Oh, I have not been to Ireland sadly, that remained a dream. The closest was Blackpol which is a great fun!

Well, I am quite old and in my childhood it was not mandatory to learn English it was my parents' choice, God bless them for that but it is now. I mean two languages children must learn. You can chose from German, English, Italian, Spanish anything really you find worth learning.

I tell you my "secret" I would love to learn Cantonese one day. I have a site dedicated to a Chinese martial artist who died ten years ago, who was Bruce Lee's assistant back than. I love watching kung fu movies and I like Cantonese language. I feel close to Eastern culture and thinking.

Oh, so you've been to all those countries? You're a lucky person, then!

I'm curious, when do Hungarian students start learning English, and is it mandatory? I know it is in France and many Asian countries.

I really hope to study abroad in Japan or Korea in college, so thanks for your hope. :)

Oh, those destinations are wonderful. Especially Scotland.
I spent a whole year in London when I just finished the Teacher's Training College. It was the best year of my life. It was mad and packed with so much experience. Since then I visited back only once but still missing London and I am still addicted to English humor and TV series :)) :))
I hope your dream will come true soon!

I want to visit a lot of places in Europe, including Scotland, Ireland, England, France, and the Netherlands. Have you been to any of those places?

I'll visit your MySpace tomorrow. Right now it's 11:45PM and I need to sleep, haha.

Oh, I am so delighted to hear that you would like to visit Hungary. You would be very surprised. It is a little country but having an amazing historical past. My hometown is even tinier but has memories from the Ancient times. The capital city Budapest is a real metropolitan now and having all the amusement.
I would be honored if you visited my myspace. There you could see a photocollection of my hometown and know a bit more about me.
Thank you for the kind careing and asking.
Lots of love, Katie

Thanks. People had a hard time spelling it, though, so they're probably glad about this one.

Oh, that's cool. I've never been to Hungary, but I want to go. What is it like there?

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jul 13, 08 10:19 pm

Oh, so sorry I did not answer all your questions. These layouts are the first ones, I have never been making any before.
My name is KATALIN in Hungarian, KATINKA is a petname. My Mum used to call me that way. And it is Katie in English.

Thank you so very much for your comment! I am so glad you liked my layout!
I love your new name, though the previous was great too. ;)
Wishing you a great weekend!

Oh, ow. >.< Hopefully you'll be more careful after you're all better.

Did you make layouts before this?

Also, what does your username mean?

Thank you dear.
On my way home I have to go down a staircase, and some people came upstairs the same time. I tried to give way and I had my new glasses on. So it seems that things just collided. I thought I was at the bottom and I failed, there was one more step back. My ankle gave in and I literally sat on it with my whole weight and there it was. The inner and the outer ligament in my ankle was torn. I have already had three weeks in this aircast and have 4 more left. Oh, it is so boring and depressing not to be able to go and do whatever I like.
Thank you for caring my friend.
I am wishing you a lovely weekend.
Hugs, Katie

You don't seem green to me.

How did you hurt yourself?

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jul 11, 08 10:53 pm
